As college enrollment continues to decline nationwide among freshmen during the coronavirus pandemic, Montclair State University is going against the trend.
The institution welcomed 3,619 first-year students to campus for the fall semester of 2021. This is the largest entering class in the 113-year history of the University and is 14% larger. than the previous record. The total is also a 16% jump from fall 2020.
