The Society for College and University Planning has invited Brittany Cipollone, Senior Planning and Evaluation Coordinator for the Institutional Effectiveness Division at Augusta University, to join its Emerging Leaders program.
The Society for College and University Planning is a professional organization that connects and educates planners in professional and higher education fields. SCUP defines integrated planning as “a sustainable approach to planning that builds relationships, aligns the organization and emphasizes readiness for change.” Through a variety of educational resources and experiences, SCUP helps professionals use best practices and promote an integrated planning culture within their own institutions.
Cipollone said she was grateful for the encouragement and support from her peers.
“I am very grateful for the support of my division to apply for the program and to have been a selected member for this professional development opportunity,” she said.
“The program will help me become more involved in SCUP and grow professionally,” she said. “I look forward to acquiring knowledge and tools for my Integrated Planning Toolkit, so that I can further support Augusta University’s Integrated Planning process and its success. Networking is also a key part of the program. I will be able to interact with other professionals in the higher education field, learn how other institutions are effectively implementing tools and processes, and then customize the app for the advancement of Augusta University.
